In February, Sasha Dovzhyk flew from London to her home country of Ukraine to help with the escalating crisis on the ground. Twelve days later, Russia launched the attack. The Western city of Lviv, where she’s based, has not yet been hit, but the sound of air raid sirens are a daily occurrence. Earlier, she spoke with NTD about what motivated her to book her flight to her home country.
