“I thought it was magnificent. The choreography was absolutely divine. It was just the most beautiful artistry that I have seen in a show ever,” said Georgina Tarry, a head costume designer. “Something about it was very divine, very ethereal. Especially with the way the sheerness of the fabrics and how lightweight they were, and the way they moved against the body. It was stunning.”
“There’s poise, it’s smooth, it’s precise, it’s mesmerizing. It just makes you come out of your world and go into theirs,” said Arcelia Martinez, a screenwriter.
“I love the dancing. I love the costumes, the acrobatics. It’s just wonderful. And the way they’ve incorporated video behind the scenes, it really adds to the story,” said Michael Riley, a business owner.
“It was perfect, the timing. I was wondering how they did the timing, because the second they would jump in, their other character would jump out. It was perfect. I was really impressed,” said Lauren Horn, a senior VP of operations.
“I always appreciated Chinese culture, but to understand the background of their faith and what they believe in, of compassion and being kind makes me understand and appreciate even more why I loved the culture in the first place,” Ms. Martinez said.
“I think that in our modern day, we’re not as in touch with our spirituality and God. I think there’s a lot of distractions and not enough focus spent on that, because I really believe that that’s where our light is and where our future is. So I really thought that that was a special part of the program,” Ms. Horn said.
“We’re all so focused on hiding our faces behind a screen and with consumerism and self, that we don’t really stop and think about the divinity of the world,” Ms. Tarry said.
“We can all use a little bit of that, can’t we? More compassion, more kindness, and just loved it,” said Amy Shabani, a business owner. “It was truly wonderful. I can’t say anything better than truly inspirational.”
