“This show is surprising and truly evokes a delightful sense of harmony. There is something truly exceptional about it. Everything works in perfect synchrony, which is remarkable. Additionally, the spirit of these performances is genuinely good,” said Jacques de Givry.
“When we say they are among the best dancers in the world, there is absolutely no doubt about it. The level is incredibly high,” said Isabelle Bonnet, a company director.
“They are truly exceptional artists and great athletes, achieving extraordinary feats and pirouettes. Their performances are so exceptional that you don't really get the impression that they're human,” said Jean-Paul Bonnet, a mathematics tutor.
“Thank you for the grace of all the performances we witnessed. It was very graceful. To truly bring beauty, there must be a great deal of grace, modesty, and exceptional gymnastic performances. We take pleasure in discovering the high-quality landscapes, and the technique used to integrate the characters into the settings is brilliant,” said Jacques de Givry.
“It touches us, touching our inner selves. In this sense, it’s a precious gift, because when our inner nature is touched, we will be able to share our hearts and be true to each other, and beautiful things come out of it. So, thank you,” said François de Givry.
“Yes, it’s our inner world that was truly moved this afternoon. It’s important because we often forget we have an inner world. I think I felt transcendence. Yes, the show conveys a message of transcendence in a world that is both ancient and modern, showing that modernity is an impediment to transcendence. It was good to convey that message,” said Jacques de Givry.
“All the artists possess incredible kindness, just like sunshine, it radiates warmth and we feel it deeply,” said Isabelle Bonnet.
“The show conveys very positive emotions, and I believe the world needs this, it must continue,” said Jean-Paul Bonnet.
“I felt that the show conveyed values and offered a perspective on current events, allowing us to refind ourselves in this difficult world. Performances like this help people find common ground. Unfortunately, I think China currently overlooks the possibility of people coming together in peace. Well, Shen Yun is creating something meaningful,” said Jacques de Givry.
“The show is full of lightness, which also puts many things into perspective, bringing lots of calm and introspection. There’s a strong meditative aspect that can’t but lead us to tranquility. It’s very, very meaningful,” said Isabelle Bonnet.
