“I loved the performance; truly, it is not just about the dance, but also about culture and history,” said Debbie A. de Jesús Morales, Miss Piel Canela Teenage Puerto Rico 2026.
News anchor for NotiCentro, Felipe Gómez Martínez said, “I consider it a fascinating, extraordinary, enlightening, and educational show. It combines cultural learning with a review of religious values and the inner self of the human being.”
Maribel Anglada, a teacher, said, “I personally loved it because there is a cultural background present the whole time, and it has some numbers that are very good for children, they are attractive for children, and they offer a lot of introspection and reflection for adults.”
“The colors moved me, in the dance, in the movements. This year was spectacular,” said Iliana Casilas, a business executive.
Ms. Morales said, “It was something very magical—the costumes, entering and exiting the screen.”
“I felt like I was in another world, literally,” Ms. Morales added. “When they jumped, it seemed like they were going to fly; they were going to soar through the entire theater. I am very grateful to have seen it, and it was very rewarding to watch.”
Mr. Martínez said, “The [song lyrics] weren’t just messages about, say, happiness and friendship, but also about the elevation of the human being, the spirit, and transformation through good deeds and values. Another point I really liked was that it wasn’t recorded music, but an orchestra. And that shows there is a genuine interest in offering a high-quality performance.”
Each performance highlights themes of spirituality and morality, which resonated with many audience members.
“I really liked the one about the peaches,” Mr. Martínez said. “Where greed leads you, right? Trying to want more and more and more, accumulating more wealth. It has its consequences. I liked that act very much.”
Mr. Martinez reflected on the entire performance, saying, “It’s like an invitation to the basics, to simplicity, to return to the basics to be able to strengthen ourselves and resist negative influences in the modern world.”
Ms. Casilas said, “There was one story that really impacted me. The fact that when you give without thinking that you’re going to receive something in return. And these other people who didn’t give, right? And the way the story ends, that you receive without thinking you’re going to receive. It was beautiful, really, very beautiful.”
“We need to seek God more, we need to focus more on the things that are really worthwhile. Not material things, but what is truly worthwhile,” Ms. Casilas later added.
“Honestly, it was something totally magical, and I will not miss it next time,” Ms. Morales said.
