Shen Yun a 'Work of Courage,' Says Taiwan's Representative to Argentina

BUENOS AIRES—Florencia Miao-hung Hsie, Taiwan's representative to Argentina, saw Shen Yun Performing Arts on April 17 in Argentina’s capital.

“Shen Yun is not just a work of art, it's a work of courage,” Ms. Hsie said, who also served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the director general of the Department of Latin American and Caribbean Affairs.

Ms. Hsie gave a heartfelt message about the experience, describing Shen Yun as a “wonderful show.”

“I really loved it, and I was especially impressed by the high artistic level of the dancers and above all, in each scene, how they try to convey some universal values.”

The experience touched her heart.

“Especially when I saw the piece about the persecution by the Chinese communist regime to Falun Dafa practitioners. That is very sad, and as a government representative of Taiwan, a democratic and free country, that cannot be accepted,” Ms. Hsei said.

Shen Yun tries to convey the struggle for spiritual freedom and for cultural preservation.

“I know that many of them are still being persecuted by communist regimes, they keep fighting for freedom and Taiwan is always with you,” the official said.

Ms. Hsei said that she will “recommend my friends to come to see this show.”
