“I choked back tears twice. I had to take out a tissue to wipe my tears,” said Tainan city councilor Tsu Tsìng-hian. “Some of the stories we have heard since childhood are presented to us in an artistic and cultural way, which is a concrete rendering of our childhood memories. I was touched by this art.”
“This is the best performance, of course,” said Zulkarnain HN, director of the Indonesian Batam youth and sports office.
“I can feel a very powerful energy in the last scene,” said former national handball player Chou Hsun-min. “The energy cast from the golden backdrop is very, very strong, very shocking, and very touching. It made me feel as if I had seen it before. It's such a wonderful feeling that it's hard to put it into words.”
“As the dancers move, different colors are presented to the audience. Together with the technical backdrop, the whole scene is visually appealing. Sometimes the characters are real people on stage, sometimes they appear in the background, a perfect transition, seamless and natural,” Mr. Tsu said.
“The performers had to present exquisite skills during the two-hour performance, and there were no mistakes at all throughout the process. Every detail was handled flawlessly. I truly admire and honor their spirit,” Mr. Chou said.
“Every year, I have a different feeling after watching the show. I am very grateful to Shen Yun for bringing us a brand new experience. The physical, mental, and spiritual nurturing and the perfect performance are the biggest harvest for me today,” said Kuo Chen-hui, former director of the Tainan tourism bureau.
“I am very proud to have such a wonderful team working to preserve our culture. We must hold on to the traditional virtues, the positive virtues, and not lose them because of the persecution of the Chinese Communist Party,” Mr. Tsu said.
“I have something deeper in my heart, because my soul ... as I shared the performance builds my spiritual [part]. [I was touched by] this story about how many people depend on God. Many people do meditation for less than seven days. So it is very important for all of the people in the world, because God decides everything,” Mr. Zulkarnain said.
“Those who are persecuting human rights are actually called the Chinese Communist Party. It is the CCP. We have to let more Chinese people know the truth,” Mr. Tsu said.
“Today's performance filled me with joy. I also felt the spirit of truthfulness, compassion and compassion, and truth, goodness, and beauty. I believe that such a performance should be watched and attended by more people, and this is the most important thing I realized today,” Ms. Kuo said.
“I simply admired them [Shen Yun artists] and thanked them for putting on such a spectacular performance. I was deeply touched. I hope everyone has the chance to watch the show in person and feel the sentiment,” Mr. Chou said.
