Grace Kaori Ishihara, a company president, said, “There is something about the music that brings me a sense of peace, that just appears.”
Junko Murofushi, a company president, said, “This was my second time seeing the performance, and once again, I was amazed by the incredible physicality of the performers. I believe the background [is computer graphics], and its seamless integration created a spectacle unlike anything I had seen before, which deeply moved me.”
Yi-Chan Shou, a theater artist, said, “I was moved by the heartfelt dancing of the actors and top artists, and all of their expressions. I was also really touched by the sounds of the erhu and pipa. I've always loved traditional Chinese music and things like that, so being able to hear the sounds was really moving.”
Masami Goto, a company president, said, “I believe that the achievement of today's performance is the result of the cultivation of abundance, happiness, peace, and daily training.”
“When I see a performance like today's, I really feel that it gives me a great sense of the future, and I think it gives me courage,” she added.
Yuji Goto, a company president, said, “There are a lot of wars and conflicts going on in countries around the world right now, and peace is the most important thing, that was the message I received from the performance.”
“I think there are many different gods in different countries around the world. I think it would be great if faith can truly lead to peace,” he added.
Fujima Kaori, a kabuki teacher, said, “[Chinese traditional culture] is deep, and I think it has something wonderful to it.”
“I really think that each country needs to treasure its traditional culture. It’s something beautiful, and it gives you inspiration and strength,” she stated.
Taifu Ochi, a company department head, said, “It left a great impression on me, so I would like to show it to many people and tell people who don't know about this wonderful performance.”
