“We’ve been waiting years to come and see the show. And then finally, my husband came and surprised our whole family, and we finally came to watch it. It was exhilarating. Fantastic show,” said Stephanie Manfrini, a school teacher.
Matteo Manfrini, a recent graduate at the University of Guelph, said, “I’ve never seen anything quite like this. Especially the way that the dancers were moving and performing, made it seem effortless. It was amazing to show essentially a story and dance at the same time without any words. It was incredible.”
Lauren Falcone, a graduate at the University of Guelph said, “It was honestly a beautiful show, a beautiful production. I really enjoyed just watching everyone and all the colors just come together. It was a really enjoyable experience. Very impressive performers.”
“Even just seeing people bring their young children to watch the show is very inspiring, and to see that they want to promote that in their children’s lives. Very nice,” Ms. Manfrini said. “I learned a lot about the history of China through the dance and through the art and the music.”
“You get to see essentially from the beginning until the current day. Right. And, it’s a fascinating history lesson on top of everything. It’s entertaining and it’s very educational,” Mr. Matteo Manfrini said.
The family also described the peaceful, warm message that the performance conveyed.
Mr. Marcelo Manfrini, a partner at a construction company said he was touched by the spirituality, “I meditate a lot and you can see the message going through the people, especially to the Western society.”
“The environment was very welcoming and very open. ... It’s a very touching performance,” Ms. Falcone said. “It was very fun to come with the family. A very large group. We all came down here, we all got dressed up to come, and it was so exciting. It was very fun.”
“Thank you for putting on such an amazing show. And you kept me entertained, and definitely want to come back,” Mr. Matteo Manfrini said.
