A 19-year-old was arrested on Sept. 14 after trampling a memorial for conservative commentator Charlie Kirk outside Turning Point USA’s Phoenix headquarters. The incident marks the latest disruption at public gatherings mourning Kirk since his assassination last week.

Fox News cameras caught Ryder Corral, 19, walking through the vigil and kicking over flowers, flags, and photos left by mourners. A man in a blue polo shirt intervened, pulling Corral from the memorial and throwing him to the ground before police stepped in. According to officials, Corral was booked into Maricopa County Jail on charges of criminal damage and disorderly conduct.
In footage of the incident, Corral is seen wearing a black shirt with an American flag and eagle, similar to the shirt worn by Tyler Robinson, the suspect arrested for fatally shooting Kirk. Police escorted Corral away from the scene as mourners rebuilt the memorial. No serious injuries were reported.
The incident came days after a separate clash in Boise, Idaho, where a man on a bicycle shouted profanities at mourners outside the state Capitol, sparking a fight before police intervened.
Another teen, Camryn Giselle Booker, 18, was arrested and expelled on Friday after she was filmed shouting profanities, harassing students, and making explicit remarks about Kirk’s assassination.

During a Friday vigil near the university's Student Union Building, Booker began harassing students. In video footage, she taunts a man wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat, prompting him to say, “Evil is real, people, and it kind of looks like that.”

When he asked why she was being hateful, Booker began filming him and repeatedly asked, “Why are you so hateful?” Booker was arrested and charged with one count of assault, classified as a Class C misdemeanor in Texas, according to officials.

Kirk, 31, was shot on Sept. 10 while addressing students at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, as part of his “American Comeback” tour. He was rushed to the hospital by his security detail but was later pronounced dead. As the founder of Turning Point USA, Kirk became a prominent conservative voice who mobilized young voters nationwide. He is survived by his wife, Erika, and their two children.

On Sept. 15, Vice President J.D. Vance paid tribute to Kirk in a special broadcast of “The Charlie Kirk Show” and condemned what he described as left-wing violence and the public celebration of Kirk’s death.

“We don’t believe in political violence, but we do believe in civility,” Vance said. Trump, speaking to reporters before leaving Bedminster, New Jersey, for Washington on Sept. 14, said that investigations were already underway for agitators and others contributing to violence on the left.
