A San Antonio man was arrested and faces felony charges after allegedly posting online threats to bomb an upcoming conservative women's summit and kill the CEO of Turning Point USA, Erika Kirk. The incident is the latest in recent threats targeting the organization's leadership since the assassination of its co-founder Charlie Kirk.
The case began in April, when the San Antonio Express-News published a Facebook post promoting TPUSA's Women's Leadership Summit, a gathering scheduled for June 5 to 7 at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter on the River Walk. The post mentioned that Erika Kirk—who became CEO of Turning Point USA following the public assassination of her husband and co-founder, Charlie Kirk—would headline the event as a keynote speaker.
Wenske allegedly responded directly to that post with a chilling statement: "I know exactly where to bomb."

This comment was interpreted as having the potential to cause death, serious bodily injury, and widespread public danger, as per the affidavit.
In a separate comment within the same thread, Wenske wrote, "I can't wait to be the valet for her escort," according to charging documents. Detectives noted in court documents that Wenske had previously worked for a parking management company that provides valet services at hotels and special events, which they believe indicated proximity-seeking behavior around the event's access points.
Earlier communication also surfaced during the investigation. On or about Jan. 26, 2026, an email sent from an account linked to Wenske was sent directly to TPUSA. In it, he allegedly wrote: "Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!! America will live on without those scum on this earth. Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event."
Investigators attributed the Facebook account and email to Wenske through subscriber records, including a registered email address, a linked phone number and IP address data. Detectives also reviewed additional Facebook comments attributed to Wenske showing what they described as "ongoing violent hostility" toward TPUSA-affiliated persons, including statements encouraging harm toward ideological opponents.
SAPD Detective A. Jackson, the lead investigator assigned to the department's Fusion Center, wrote in the affidavit that the threats were "not isolated or ambiguous" and that Wenske's conduct went beyond protected political speech. Jackson noted that bombing references tied to a specific, upcoming venue, combined with the defendant's event-access knowledge, increased fear among attendees, hotel staff and organizers.
Charlie Kirk’s Death
Charlie Kirk was shot and killed during a campus speaking event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on Sept. 10 of last year. The gunman, identified as Tyler James Robinson, 22, faces aggravated murder charges in what authorities have described as a politically motivated killing. FBI Director Kash Patel previously stated that Robinson told someone "he had an opportunity to take out Kirk and was going to do it."TPUSA spokesman Matt Shupe said in a statement to NTD News that the organization is grateful for law enforcement's response.
"Turning Point USA takes all threats seriously and we work closely with law enforcement at all levels to respond to and resolve any threats," Shupe said. "We are grateful to the San Antonio Police Department and the FBI for their rapid response and arrest of the individual making these threats."
The organization said its events feature multi-layered security involving both private security teams and local police.
"We refuse to let threats silence us," Shupe added. "We look forward to a successful and inspiring gathering June 5–7 in San Antonio for 2,500+ ladies attending the Women's Leadership Summit."
Wenske's case has been referred to the Bexar County District Court. It was not immediately clear whether he had retained legal counsel.
