Major grocery chains are rolling out aggressive Thanksgiving deals this holiday season, with several retailers offering complete holiday meals for low prices.

This comes as food prices have risen by more than 3 percent since September 2024, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Despite higher-than-usual prices, some of the nation's biggest grocers have announced Thanksgiving sales at new lows. Walmart, Target, Kroger, Aldi, and Publix have all unveiled discounted Thanksgiving bundles designed to lower the cost of a traditional holiday feast.

Walmart's One-Click Solution

Walmart is taking the convenience factor seriously this year with its revamped Thanksgiving meal basket that feeds 10 people for less than $4 per person. The retailer is allowing shoppers to order the entire meal online, then either pick it up in stores or have it delivered in as little as one hour, according to a company release.

The $39.45 basket includes more than 20 items from national and private brands, with some hitting their lowest prices since 2019. The meal features a 13.5-pound Butterball turkey alongside traditional sides including stuffing, fresh potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans, corn, and pie crusts.
