Tucker Genal, the TikTok influencer with more than 2 million followers, has died at age 31. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, Genal died on Dec. 11, with the manner of death listed as suicide.

The confirmed death comes as a shock to fans who followed Genal's content on the social media platform.

Genal's family announced his passing on Monday. His brother Carson took to his verified Instagram account to honor the TikTok star's memory and inform the public of the tragic loss.

"I don't even know where to begin, You were my best friend and an even better big brother, my entire life I've spent looking up to you and trying to follow in your footsteps because you were always my hero … You were the kindest person I've ever met and the greatest brother that anyone could have ever asked for. We love you and will miss you eternally Tucker," Carson wrote.

The family requested privacy during their time of grief.

The TikTok star's death has resonated deeply within the influencer community. Several high-profile figures took to social media to share their condolences with Genal's family.

Deena Buckner, who has 3.8 million followers on Instagram, commented on Carson's post: "I am so so sorry for you loss .. I've been following you all for a while now.. I may have started following Tucker first .. I never skipped a Genal brother video .. having two boys and my husband having two brothers which remind me a lot of all of you .. your videos felt familiar .. breaks my heart to hear about your loss .. my heart is with you and your entire family," Buckner wrote.

Influencer Caitlyn Rae, who has over 1.85 million Instagram followers, also shared her grief. "I'm so sorry Carson & Connor. My heart is completely broken for your family. Getting to spend time with you guys and Tucker is something I'll treasure forever and I'll always remember the way you all lit up a room together. Sending so so so much love," Rae wrote.

Dayna Marie, an influencer with over 1.2 million Instagram followers, wrote: “I love you Carson I’m so sorry. He was loved by many and he is in a better place now. Always loved being around all of you praying for your family and friends.”

In October, Filipino influencer Emmanuelle "Emman" Atienza died at age 19. According to an Instagram post from her mother Felicia, the death was unexpected. "It's with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our daughter and sister, Emman," the mother wrote.

Emman's family shared that she was known for her openness about mental health struggles. According to the Instagram post from her parents and siblings Jose and Eliana, "She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives and into the lives of everyone who knew her. Emman had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn't afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone."
