An ambulance rushed actor Tom Holland for medical assistance while he was filming his latest Hollywood movie in England.

Holland was performing a stunt in the new “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” movie when he was injured and taken to a hospital. The 29-year-old was treated for a concussion and released.

His father, Dominic Holland, while attending a charity dinner in Mayfair, said that the younger Holland would temporarily stop working on the production “for a while," The Sun reported.

Another stunt person involved in the incident was taken to the hospital as well.

The film is being produced at Leavesden Studios in Watford, Hertfordshire in England.

The cast includes Holland’s fiancée Zendaya, 28, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, and J.K. Simmons.

Neither Holland nor his fiancée Zendaya’s publicity representatives responded to requests for comment.

The Marvel-Sony film, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, is the latest in a series of Spider-Man movies that is scheduled to premiere in theatres next year on July 31. Marvel-Sony did not respond to requests for comment.

Cretton, known for directing “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” did not respond to requests for comment.

Previous installments starring Holland include “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”

They were directed by Jon Watts and have earned more than $3.9 billion globally.

Holland told “Good Morning America” recently that the idea for the fourth installment is a little different from anything done before.

"But I think the fans are going to really respond to it,” Holland said.

After rumors earlier this year that Holland and Zendaya became engaged, Zendaya began wearing a diamond ring on her left hand during the awards show known as the Golden Globes, which the Emmy Award-winner attended by telecast at the Beverly Hilton.

Holland’s father confirmed their engagement in his Jan. 10 Patreon blog post.

"The big news this week is a good example of just such an opportunity for me — are they/aren’t they engaged? Zendaya wearing a ring and Tom nowhere to be seen adding to the intrigue. Tom, as you know by now was very incredibly well prepared," Dominic Holland said. "He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter."

Zendaya became famous in 2019 after starring “Euphoria” and “Challengers” and became linked to Holland after playing his romantic interest eight years ago in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”
