UK Bans Chinese Surveillance Cameras Over Security Concerns

The UK government has told its departments to stop installing CCTV cameras made by Chinese companies on “sensitive sites.” A review has found that additional controls are needed because of security concerns. The policy applies to firms that are required by law to cooperate with Beijing’s security services.
