Indian rescuers made every effort to save three puppies that had fallen into a deep borewell. The members of the Kartvya Stray Welfare Association, an NGO that rescued the pups, claim that they received a call alerting them to noises coming from the borewell.
The puppies appear to have fallen inside the previous day. The puppies appear to be only a few day old. The borewell is situated at a farm near Temla Road in Khargone city, Madhya Pradesh. To reach the stuck pups, the NGO hired a JCB digger to dig a deep trench. The mother dog kept watch over everything during the mission. One puppy was stuck 3 meters (10 feet) below the surface, another at 4.5 meters (15 feet), and a third at 5.4 meters (18 feet), according to the rescue team members. They were finally able to save them all after six hours.
