Britney Spears has filed a restraining order against ex-manager Sam Lutfi, requesting protection for herself, her two sons, her father, Jamie Spears; and her mother, Lynne Spears.

In the documents obtained by E! News, Britney Spears’s attorney asked for a restraining order against Lutfi “to prevent future harm and further psychological trauma” to Britney Spears and her family.

According to the documents, Lutfi previously sent “threatening texts to Ms. Spears’ family, he has leaked confidential information and is considering releasing more of Ms. Spears (actual and fabricated) private information.”

The filing claims that Lutfi’s actions have caused “severe mental trauma” to Britney Spears by interfering with her life. The documents also claim Lutfi has used his social media to coordinate “harassment indirectly on his behalf” by spreading misinformation about Spears and her team, “as well as offering bribes and threatening the release of private information.”

The restraining request cites an example when Lutfi allegedly sent “Ms. Spears’ mother, Lynne Spears, a long and unhinged text message that includes harmful, disparaging and ominous remarks in an effort to disrupt the conservatorship.”

While the conservatorship was always handled by Jamie Spears, Lynne Spears recently requested for a special notice asking to be informed “of all matters pertaining to Britney and her conservatorship,” according to The Blast. Britney Spears will have a status hearing concerning her conservatorship on May 10, according to E! News.

While it is unclear if the above example is in relation to Lynne Spear’s latest court filing, Lutfi has allegedly been urging his Twitter followers to carry out the “harassment indirectly on his behalf” as part of the “Free Britney” from the conservatorship.

As previously reported, Britney Spears, 37, checked into a facility after her father’s health declined.

Shortly after she checked into the facility, Lutfi began harassing Britney Spears and all those around her, according to the documents.

“Lutfi began a new campaign of harassment against Ms. Spears and her family,” according to the documents.

“In the last week alone, Mr. Lutfi has made dozens of disparaging and threatening comments on social media and in interviews,” according to the documents. “Mr. Lutfi’s actions threaten Ms. Spears’ safety and well-being.”

While Britney Spears was in the facility, a movement called “Free Britney” began on social media. After Britney Spears left the facility, she broke her silence about the movement in an Instagram post, accusing Lutfi of sharing alleged emails from her.

I wanted to say hi, because things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!! Wow!!! There’s rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said. I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me. Don’t believe everything you read and hear. These fake emails everywhere were crafted by Sam Lutfi years ago… I did not write them. He was pretending to be me and communicating with my team with a fake email address. My situation is unique, but I promise I’m doing what’s best at this moment ???????????? You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and stand up for what I want! Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way. If you could do that, I would be forever grateful. Love you ❤️❤️❤️
