California lawmakers passed a bill on Feb. 22 to send $600 payments to nearly 5.7 million people, with Governor Gavin Newsom supporting the bill. The payment is to provide relief to low-income Californians affected by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus lockdowns.

Activist groups have protested to recall the governor, unsatisfied with California’s lockdown on businesses and schools in the past year. The petition to recall Newsom has less than a month before its deadline to garner 1.5 million valid signatures.
