Popular children's furniture brand Cosyland has recalled thousands of kids' tower stools sold on Amazon over concerns the products could topple during use, posing a risk of serious injury and death.
"The recalled tower stools can collapse or tip over while in use, and a child’s torso can fit through the openings on the front and back sides, posing a risk of serious injury and death due to tip over, fall and entrapment hazards," the agency said.
The affected products were manufactured in China and include the models CS0003 and CS0092-4, which were sold on Amazon.com from April 2021 through November 2025 for roughly $70.
The tower stools were available in natural bamboo and gray and measured about 16 inches deep by 18 inches wide and 35 inches tall. The products can also be identified by the brand name "COSYLAND," which appears on the top rails alongside various warning labels.
The recommended remedy is to repair the stools, and consumers can contact Cosyland Official for the necessary parts, including protective nets, stabilizing feet, and installation instructions.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the company will mail out the parts free of charge and urged consumers to immediately stop using the affected stools and keep them away from children until they can be repaired.

In addition to Cosyland's recall, more than 25,000 Guidecraft Kitchen Helper Towers were also pulled on Thursday over concerns the stool's platform could loosen over time and become unstable or detach, posing a fall hazard to young children.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the company has received 11 reports of children falling to date, resulting in three injuries, including a bloody nose and bruises.
The recalled products, which were also manufactured in China, retailed for about $200 and were sold from June 2022 through October 2023 via Guidecraft's website, as well as several major online retailers, including Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, Target, Maisonette, and Overstock.
