A heat wave has disrupted Fourth of July festivities in cities across the country.

Independence Day will be observed on Saturday, July 4, this year, marking the nation's 250th anniversary.

Brittany Clark, 31, of Orlando, was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.

The singer-songwriter died on June 30, just one day shy of his 75th birthday.

The body of Harbe Nagi was discovered around 8 a.m. Tuesday in a swimming pool outside a home in Menands, officials said.

Damien O'Brien, 40, and Jessica O'Brien, 41, have been charged with second-degree murder, torture, and three counts of second-degree child abuse following the death of their son in November 2025, officials said.

Kitty Mia Diaz, 21; Amaya Cookie Diaz, 19; and Kyandra Renee Faz, 21, were arrested on June 25, officials said.

The child was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, park officials said.
