Country singer Jason Aldean’s household has welcomed its newest member. According to a post on wife Brittany’s Instagram Tuesday, the Aldeans have adopted a baby boy—with furry paws and a waggling tail.

The country music star’s wife shared a photo of the adorable puppy, a brindle-and-white who appears to be of mixed breed. She explained that he was adopted from a rescue group. “His brothers and sisters were all found in a drain pipe on an extremely hot day in St. Louis,” she wrote on Instagram, adding that there are still seven other puppies in his litter waiting for caring homes.

“Check out there page and give a loving home to our baby’s siblings or any of their other amazing doggies!” she added.

Hopefully, the dog will become the new best friend for the children in their ever-growing family. Navy, Aldean’s fourth child, will be seven months old on Sept. 4. She was born in February, joining big brother Memphis—Aldean and wife Brittany’s first child—and older half-sisters Keeley and Kendyl, Aldean’s daughters from his first marriage.

The couple is taking suggestions in the form of Instagram comments on the post, as the new dog has yet to be named.

The adoption of the new dog comes weeks after Brittany commemorated the painful one-year anniversary of losing her four-legged companion, Bentley the Bulldog.

“You were the sun, the moon and all the stars. You were my first child, my first love, my first responsibility in life,” she wrote as a tribute to the beloved canine, adding that when the family moves into their new house, which is currently under construction, she plans to create a special spot by planting a tree and placing his ashes and a commemorative stone nearby.
