Country star Justin Moore revealed that he was stepped on by a horse during a photo shoot for his upcoming album.
On Thursday, Jan. 31, Moore, 34, shared with his fans on Instagram what happened during the unfortunate incident.
"Anything for art!" Moore captioned two photos of his badly bruised leg. Despite the fact that he was apparently stomped on by a horse, Moore seemed anything but put out.
"First time in my career I've been stepped on by a horse during an album photo shoot. Lol. Hopefully, we got the shot though!"
Moore is currently working on his fifth studio album, which he also referred to in the post: "New album, 'Late Nights and Longnecks' coming soon!"
The photos of his injured leg prompted a number of comments that ranged from shock to well-wishes.
"Get better soon! Can't wait for this new album," one user commented.
Another user wrote, "Holy cow!! I've been stomped on, bit, stepped on and knocked down but I've never gotten a beat down like that! Was it a Clydesdale??!???"
"Oh my goodness! Bless ur heart! I pray for a speedy recovery!!" another commented.
His single, "The Ones That Didn't Make It Back Home," was released as the first glimpse into his new album. It's a military tribute song that's specific to soldiers, or anyone in the line of duty, who doesn't make it back home.
Moore has promised this album would lean more traditional and show its '90s country influences.
Moore recently talked about how proud he is to be on the traditional side of country music.
The country singer will have a short break before he will be performing on Feb. 8 at the Canton Civic Center in Ohio.
When he's not busy on the road or in the studio, Moore spend his time with his family. In 2017, Moore and his wife, Kate, welcomed Thomas South Moore—their fourth child.
