Facts Matter (April 1): AZ Attorney General Issues Criminal Referral of Secretary of State for Possible Election Crimes

Since the midterm elections are coming up so soon, let’s focus the discussion on how states are working to keep the ballot box secure.

Arizona just passed a new law, which requires that all voters must submit proof of citizenship in order to vote either in the federal presidential election or vote by mail. Meanwhile, also in Arizona, the attorney general just sent a letter to a county attorney and asked him to begin investigating the secretary of state for potential election crimes.
