Following the Path of Political Philosophy

Harry Jaffa was one of the greatest scholars and thinkers of the 20th century. His work has extended through his pupils who have now become some of America’s most influential scholars and thinkers. Glenn Ellmers, in his book “The Soul of Politics,” guides us along the path of political philosophy through the eyes of Jaffa and exposes readers to a sophisticated way to think about politics.

Glenn Ellmers is a visiting research fellow at Hillsdale College and a senior fellow at the Claremont Institute. He earned his Ph.D. in politics from Claremont Graduate University. “The Soul of Politics” is his first book, and he is a regular contributor of articles and essays to the Claremont Review of Books, The Review of Metaphysics, Modern Age, Law & Liberty, and National Review.
