The FBI has offered a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest of Satinderjeet Singh, the alleged ringleader of the Lawrence Bishnoi Organized Crime Group.

Singh, 32, allegedly engaged in a variety of violent acts in southern California and across the United States and Canada, according to the FBI.

“These acts include assassinations of political and religious figures, shootings, murders, kidnappings, extortions, assaults, and the trafficking of narcotics and weapons,” the FBI said.

According to an FBI "Most Wanted" alert, Singh has ties to Sacramento and Fresno, California, Canada, India, and Mexico.

Singh, who uses the alias “Goldy Brar,” is based in the United States and is the alleged leader of the crime group in North America.

According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Singh was one of 37 defendants named in three federal indictments filed under “Operation Hard Ball,” a coordinated law enforcement crackdown targeting organized crime groups allegedly involved in violent crimes, extortion and international narcotics trafficking.

In September 2025, the Canadian government officially designated the Bishnoi enterprise as a terrorist entity.

The syndicate, according to federal prosecutors, operates under the leadership of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently imprisoned in India.

The DOJ said Singh helped Bishnoi manage the enterprise’s day-to-day operations and directed the actions of members and associates of the criminal enterprise worldwide.

Among the crimes alleged in the indictment,  Singh allegedly ordered the assassination of prominent political and religious leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was shot and killed as he left a Sikh temple in Surrey, British Columbia in June 2023.

In November 2023, the Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for a separate shooting that occurred at the Vancouver home of a prominent Indian actor and singer, and warned in the Punjabi language in a social media post, “no one can save you from us.”

Singh and others also allegedly extorted victims through encrypted messaging applications by threatening violence against the victims or the victims’ families. He also allegedly helped the crime syndicate fund its activities through international drug trafficking and stealing drug shipments from rival gangs.

A federal arrest warrant was issued for Singh on July 1.

The FBI described Singh as 5 foot, 9 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. He is also considered armed and dangerous and at risk of escape, according to the agency.

Singh faces charges of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Conspiracy; Conspiracy to Interfere and Attempted Interference with Commerce by Extortion; and Conspiracy to Distribute and Possess with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances.
