A Florida woman was arrested in connection to a fatal shooting of a Burger King worker over a long drive-thru wait.
Police arrested 31-year-old Ashley Mason on Wednesday for her involvement in the death of Burger King employee Desmond Joshua, who recently started working at the Orlando restaurant. Mason was identified as the wife of shooting suspect 37-year-old Kelvis Rodriguez-Tormes, who had demanded that Joshua fight him before he shot the employee.
Mason is accused of becoming irate over the slow service at the Burger King on Aug. 1, police said. She allegedly then got out of her vehicle and began yelling, threatening to bring "her man" to the restaurant.
Mason was refunded $40 and was asked to leave.

Officials told the station that Mason instead came back with Rodriguez-Tormes in two vehicles. Officials said Rodriguez-Tormes then allegedly fought with Joshua, 22, and told him, "You got two seconds before I shoot you."
The manager of the Burger King told police that he then heard a gunshot before Joshua fell to the ground. Mason and Rodriguez-Tormes then fled the scene, authorities said.
Rodriguez-Tormes was charged with first-degree murder with a firearm, destruction of evidence, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
It's not clear if either suspect has an attorney.
