Fugitive on US Marshals Most Wanted List Arrested in Florida
Michael Anthony Baltimore. (U.S. Marshals)

A Pennsylvania barber thought to be connected with the murder of his boss has been arrested in Florida. The man had previously been featured on a reality TV show.

Michael Baltimore, 44, was arrested in Davie, Florida, near Fort Lauderdale, on Friday morning. In his possession was a loaded handgun as well as drugs. According to a press release by U.S. Marshals, he fled a bar fight the night before. Baltimore had been on the Marshals’ 15 most wanted list since June 2022.

According to police, Baltimore fatally shot Kendell Jerome Cook at Cook’s barbershop in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in May 2021.

According to the U.S. Marshals, Baltimore worked for Cook until 2019 and was featured in several episodes of the TLC reality series “90 Day Fiancé.”He has an extensive criminal history and is known to be violent.

Police said Baltimore and Cook were friends before a conflict happened between the two. Shortly after the TV show, Baltimore quit his job only to return several years later to allegedly open fire at the shop, killing Cook and wounding another man.

Following the incident, Baltimore was put on the U.S. Marshals’ 15 Most Wanted list. He disappeared from the Marshals’ radar until Thursday night when he got into a bar fight at Geronimos Grill in Davie.

Investigators said that police caught up with him after he fled the scene, and finally arrested him along Griffin Road in Davie in the early hours of Friday, WSVN reported. Police later identified him as a fugitive who was wanted for murder.

Upon his arrest, police said that in addition to the loaded handgun and drugs, they found three fake ID cards. He also provided officers with a fake name.

His fingerprints were later linked to the murder warrant in Pennsylvania and his most wanted status was confirmed, marshals said in their release, reported CNN.

Baltimore is now being held in Florida on local charges and will then be extradited to Pennsylvania, where he will face charges of murder and attempted murder.
