“Last Song” fans rejoice! American singer Miley Cyrus and her long time fiancé, Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, appear to confirm rumors that the couple are officially married after social media posts appeared showing the two tying the knot over the weekend.

Cyrus posted three black and white photos on her Instagram account of the two in wedding attire embracing in front of a large floral arrangement. She captioned the post: “It is official, Mr. and Mrs. Hemsworth. I am very happy and trilled.”

Hemsworth also posted a picture on his Instagram and captioned it with: “My love.” He also added a heart after the words.

For the occasion, the 26-year-old singer wore a stunning white floor-length made-to-order silk crepe gown designed by Vivienne Westwood and costing $8,600, according to PageSix.

In contrast, 28-year-old Hemsworth wore a traditional black tuxedo paired with casual white sneakers.

The couple’s friend, Conrad Jack Carr, also posted photos and videos on his Instagram story of the event on Dec. 23, with Hemsworth and his brothers pictured near some balloons with “Mr.” and “Mrs.” printed on them, according to People.

One of the photos showed the bride and groom, along with Cyrus’s mother, in front of a cake and some cupcakes.

Additionally, Cyrus’s younger sister, Noah, also uploaded wedding-themed photos to her Instagram story that same day, according to E! News, including one showing herself crying.

Cyrus and Hemsworth met about a decade ago on the set of the film “The Last Song” in which they co-starred as love interests. Their on-screen romance blossomed off-screen soon after.  They continued dating on and off since then.

Their relationship hit a rough patch and the two split after becoming engaged in 2012. The famous “Wrecking Ball” song and a transformed Miley Cyrus followed soon after. Cyrus and Hemsworth reconnected in 2015 and a year later they were engaged again.

Until recently, the couple shared a house in Malibu, which burned down in November in the Woolsey wildfire that decimated southern California. Afterward, the two donated $500,000 to charity to help rebuild the community.  They shared on social media that despite losing their home, they were able to save all their animals.

Both Cyrus and Hemsworth posted pictures of their house on social media during that time. Not much remained except for the word “LOVE” in large scorched concrete letters in front of a burned-out wall.

It’s been a heartbreaking few days. This is what’s left of my house. Love. Many people in Malibu and surrounding areas in California have lost their homes also and my heart goes out to everyone who was affected by these fires. I spent the day in Malibu yesterday and it was amazing to see the community pulling together to help each other out in any way they can. Malibu is a strong community and this event is only going to make it stronger. Thankful for the all the great local guys that helped keep smaller fires out around my property. I love u guys. I love you Malibu. Thank you to all the hero firefighters around California. It’s going to be a journey to rebuild. Stay strong all. To help/donate visit @malibufoundation and @happyhippiefdn

“It’s been a heartbreaking few days. This is what’s left of my house. Love,” Hemsworth captioned an Instagram post on Nov. 13.

The ravaging Woolsey fire destroyed a total of 1,500 structures and claimed the lives of three people in Los Angeles and the Ventura counties. Beginning on Nov. 8, the fast-moving fire scorched nearly 97,000 acres.

Perhaps the recent tragedy brought the couple closer together.  In Cyrus’s 2017 song “Malibu,” she seemed to talk about her love for Hemsworth in the lyrics: “I’d spend the rest of my life just standing here talking/ You would explain the current, as I just smile/Hoping I just stay the same and nothing will change/ And it’ll be just us, just for a while.”

The two live together now in a house in Tennessee, where they appear to have held the wedding.

Cyrus is the daughter of famous “Achy Breaky Heart” country singer, Billy Ray Cyrus. The father-daughter duo starred together in the hit Disney series “Hannah Montana” from 2006 to 2011.

Hemsworth is best known for his roles in the films “The Hunger Games” and “Independence Day: Resurgence.” Best wishes to the newlyweds!
