I've had PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), irregular periods, clots, and PMS (premenstrual syndrome) symptoms like back pain since I was 14. On top of that, feeling super tired and sluggish with PMS symptoms.

I thought that was "normal" and it's just something girls just have to live with–until I realized it wasn't 🫠

Since I started my health journey with TCM, I started doing something called moxa or moxibustion. It's a super effective treatment where the mugwort plant 🌿 is burned in different forms over specific areas of the body that are internally too "cold." In traditional Chinese medicine, anywhere in the body that shows signs of coldness will usually have pain or stagnation. For me, it's in the uterus area, which explains what has affected my PCOS, very irregular periods, and blood clots during menstruation.
