Pre-Med Student Expelled for Refusing Booster After Bad Vax Reaction

COVID-19 vaccination rules are relaxing in some arenas, but not on many college campuses. Ellie Puentes was a pre-med sophomore at Union College in upstate New York. She got the vaccines as required to return to school in September, and she didn’t react well. She even went to the hospital emergency room and still suffers symptoms today. So when the school mandated boosters a few months later, she applied for an exemption with a doctor’s note recommending the same. The school administration responded by telling her to pack up and go.
