Sen. Hawley, Mayorkas in Heated Exchange Over DHS Staffer’s ‘Pro-Genocidal’ Social Media Posts

At a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing on “Threats to the Homeland” on Tuesday, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) confronted the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Alejandro Mayorkas, over foreign students who study in the United States singing hateful, antisemitic songs on campus, and a DHS employee who posted “pro-genocidal” slogans and images on social media platforms.
