Shen Yun performed in Waterbury, Connecticut on March 19th.

Karen Rolfini-Beckenstein, founder of language school, was amazed by the performance.

“It’s amazing! It’s absolutely amazing! The choreography, the dress, the dance!” she exclaimed.

Masha Loucks, former dancer, noted the special lightness the dancers brought to stage.

“I was so enjoying the lightness of performance, how they move. They were so light, it was like a feather. And this is what I noticed first. To me, this is professionalism,” she said.

“And I understand that lightness that performers presented today comes from strong muscles and a strong mind. You know, the combination of both. So, of course, I’m going to try to teach my clients, the people around me to do that, because this is how you flow through life,” she added.

Debbie Pontelandolso,  university music department employee, came to see Shen Yun with her father.

“You can’t come and see it without being touched in some way. It definitely will touch your heart. It’s heartwarming, it’s cultural education, it’s beautiful. Everything about it.”

She continued, “It’s the lyrics of life, right? We all come from nature, and this kind of brings us back to nature.

“You’ll walk away from here being a better person. Yes! It will make you feel so wonderful! And it will make you appreciate life.”

Shen Yun will perform next in Santa Barbara, California on March 24th.
