Theatergoers were moved by Shen Yun Performing Arts at its two performances to over 6,000 audience members in Toulon, France, on April 5. They told NTD they applauded the show’s beauty and artistry.
René Duppi, a former company owner, said, "The show is truly wonderful. We've heard about it for a long time. We saw it on TV and on social media. When we learned Shen Yun was coming to Toulon, we decided to see it, and we are absolutely thrilled. We will definitely come back.”

Eric Gervais, a construction manager, said, “It's magnificent, it’s impressive. We truly didn't expect this. Everything is precise to the millimeter and full of surprises. It's really very, very beautiful. A beautiful, beautiful show.”

Patricia Fileri, a psychologist, said of the experience, “There was so much to see; we were completely immersed in a unique world. It was very magical.”

Dominique Fileri, a company owner, said, “Everything felt magical. Seeing China presented this way is fantastic. It's truly wonderful.”

Shen Yun’s mission is to revive 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture. Audience members resonated with the messages of China's traditional semi-divine culture, and said the performance filled them with emotion, with some even moved to tears.

“It's filled with emotions, it resonates deeply, and it's magical, truly magical. There are feelings that we can’t put into words. It's so powerful and so beautiful,” Mr. Gervais said.

“At the end of the show, my wife and I cried. We were very, very, very, very moved. Bravo! Here in France, we say it grabs you by the guts. And when it does, there is a real emotion. It’s really very, very touching; it touches you deeply. Nothing could be better than this,” Mr. Duppi said.

“It's an escape, really. At the same time, it brings a lot of serenity, and a lot of philosophy. There was also a lot of joy and amusing little anecdotes, along with a high level of professionalism in the show. The dancers really make it look effortless but you can sense all the hard work that goes into it to achieve such perfection,” Mrs. Fileri said.

“In all the scenes, I felt spirituality is strongly present in this show. It feels good to feel ourselves connected and to know that this performance really conveys this spirituality,” Corinne De Martino said.

“It brings us serenity, it brings us fulfillment and spirituality as well,"  Mr. Duppi said.

“It's this light that touched us deeply, that enabled us to find ourselves again, our true selves. And the depth and stability of this luminous presence is remarkable,” Mrs. Fileri said.

“The show contributes a lot to this. Yes, indeed. It's true that the Divine, we must seek Him, we must find Him. And here the show is a great example [of finding the Divine],” Mr. Fileri said.

“Beautiful values are conveyed, values of solidarity and generosity. The performance offers us a lot of things, and it's something we really need in these times we live in, when it's so easy to let ourselves be scattered, broken up, and pushed down. Yet here, in this show we are supported and even uplifted, I would say,” Corinne De Martino said.
