“Wonderful, full of poetry, wisdom, and grace,” said Louis Dupleix, an architect.
Rosa Del Carmen Chávez, a luxury lifestyle mentor, said, “Yes, it was magnificent. It is truly very, very beautiful. It feels good to see [Shen Yun].”
Mr. Dupleix added that “The artistic level is perfect. Not a single mistake. All the artists move at the same time to perfection. It is very fluid, magnificent to see.”
Ms. Chávez also said, “The coordination is done with such grace and elegance. Amazing.”
Rose Floquet, a sales manager, said, “Extraordinary, very, very beautiful. It was fairy-like, the colors, the performance, everything was magical.”
“My wife and I are absolutely delighted to have attended the performance. The quality is outstanding, and we’re not alone in that feeling; the entire theater was filled,” said Jean-Marie Cahen, a forensic construction expert.
Based in New York, Shen Yun has been touring the world since 2006 and has expanded into eight companies. The artists also shine a light on the Chinese communist regime’s persecution of faith and human rights abuses, one of the main reasons they cannot perform in China to this day.
“It was mentioned that, unfortunately, persecution still persists in China. For those familiar with the evil of persecution during the Chinese [Cultural] Revolution under Mao Zedong, it is truly heartening to witness such talented and vibrant young artists, full of energy and determination, pushing for change,” said Jean-Jacques Hayat, a private school principal.
Mr. Dupleix said, “The story conveyed through the performance allows us to go beyond a simple performance. It carries a powerful message, one that touches the Divine and invites us to discover and rediscover the Divine.”
Ms. Floquet said, “It was super! I didn’t expect to be so deeply impressed by everything. It’s unfortunate that China itself cannot host them. It’s truly a great shame. China is the one losing out.”
“For me, art, dance, and beauty are always mixed with the Divine. So yes, of course, we felt that during the performance,” said Ms. Chávez.
Mr. Hayat said, “You catch a glimpse of the full richness of this culture unfolding, which is truly magnificent. And it evokes a deep sense of serenity.”
“I believe |Shen Yun] has much to offer the world. Given the situation of the world today, this performance should be considered of public interest,” said Mr. Dupleix.
“Yes, I believe putting this message in front of people, allowing them to rediscover the Divine through art, is truly magnificent,” said Ms. Chávez.
“It’s a powerful message of peace, one that embodies gentleness, tolerance, and mutual support. This kind of message is especially important today, given the state of the world. We truly need it. It was absolutely magnificent. Bravo to everyone involved,” said Ms. Floquet.
