Sunak Wants Pupils to Study Maths Until Age 18

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says he’s making numeracy a central objective of the country’s education system and will require pupils to study maths up to the age of 18. NTD spoke with Chris McGovern to hear his views on the plan. He’s the chairman of the Campaign for Real Education, a retired head teacher, and a former adviser to the policy unit at 10 Downing Street.
