Chances are you’ve heard of the “one-chip challenge”—the consumption of a single tortilla chip dusted with the two hottest peppers known to man, and refraining from eating or drinking afterward for as long as possible. Hershey subsidiary and tortilla chip maker Paqui has now pulled the product from store shelves following the death of a 14-year-old in Massachusetts who stopped breathing a number of hours after taking part in the challenge. Harris Wolobah’s family now blames the company for his death.
