Mark Ludwig, President of the National Council for Equal Shared Parenting, discussed the importance of fatherhood and the impact of father absence on children.
He highlighted the need for equal shared parenting post-divorce, noting that 83 percent of cases nationwide grant primary custody to mothers.
Ludwig emphasized the role fathers play in setting boundaries and providing male role models, which are crucial for children's development. He also criticized historical policies that excluded fathers, leading to increased social issues.
Ludwig is working with the White House and the National Association of Christian Lawmakers (NACL) to create programs that support fatherhood and family engagement.
