The White House disputed claims on Wednesday made by Iranian state television about a new draft proposal for peace with the United States.

The administration quickly responded to a report that the draft proposal allegedly includes demands linked to Iran’s nuclear program, future enforcement measures, and the release of $20 billion in frozen funds.

“This report from Iranian controlled media is not true and the MOU they ‘released’ is a complete fabrication,” according to a statement on X. “Nobody should believe what Iranian state media is putting out. FACTS MATTER.”

The comments come as President Donald Trump is set to convene a Cabinet meeting on the status of the latest peace talks at White House on Wednesday.
