Former secret service operative Dan Bongino launched his own libertarian conservative news aggregate website that seeks to topple Drudge Report, which has been falling in popularity.

A frequent Fox commentator, Bongino teased his upcoming news aggregator, Bongino Report, on social media in recent weeks before its official Dec. 4 debut, “We will feature exclusively conservative and libertarian content. In other words, real news. Don’t miss the Bongino Report, coming very soon.”

“Tired of Drudge? Get ready. The Bongino Report is almost ready for launch. Coming soon, stay tuned,” Bongino wrote, apparently taking aim at the Drudge Report headed by Matt Drudge.

Bongino, who is frequently seen on Fox TV shows like “Fox & Friends,” “Tucker Carlson Tonight” and “Hannity,” accused Drudge of having deserted his conservative audience lately by covering the Trump impeachment and being critical of the president. Bongino also pledged allegiance to the conservative nation.

Drudge has abandoned you. I NEVER will.” Bongino posted on Twitter, adding, “Check out, and bookmark, the Bongino Report today.”

Bongino Report features six main categories; Election 2020, The Impeachment Witch Hunt, Culture War, Economy, Immigration, and All The Rest.

For the moment, 45-year-old Bongino, who has 1.3 million followers, is far from the number of followers Drudge has garnered over the years. However, Drudge’s monthly visit numbers have dropped significantly from 96 million to 77 million, from July to October, possibly due to its perceived “anti-Trump bias” since the impeachment inquiry started, according to The Washington Times.

Bongino will have to share the pie with five other right-wing upstarts, namely Whatfinger News, Rantingly, NewsAmmo, Gab Trends, and Liberty Daily, which pulled in an average of 1.72 million monthly visits, according to the outlet.
