Country singer Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn Jae are expecting their first child. They shared the exciting news on social media.
"It's been so hard keeping this a secret!!!!! But the KB’S ARE GONNA BE PARENTS!!! KB3 IM GONNA BE A DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Brown wrote on Instagram along with a picture of a sonogram.
Katelyn also shared the news on her Instagram account on Monday, April 15.
"The coolest day of my life by far. I barely could stop laughing/crying to let her get pictures but I am soooooo happy and excited," she wrote in the caption, along with a video of herself getting a sonogram. "@kanebrown_music I love you so much & am so excited to have an addition to our family to share our everyday fun, travel, & love."
The two have not yet released when the baby is due.
The two tied the knot in Tennessee, at the Mint Springs Farm.
"We wanted something here in Nashville and loved the idea of having it at home and not traveling since we are on the road so much," the couple told People magazine. "It's not too rural but has so many elements of nature—a huge lake, rolling hills, trees. It's just beautiful out there."
The couple also kept the ceremony more traditional, with Katelyn opting for a classic white gown.
"We decided to exchange letters to each other earlier in the day and keep the actual vows a little more traditional," they told People magazine.
Instead, Brown decided to stay solo and posted covers online. His cover of George Strait's "Check Yes or Not" went viral with over 7 million views from Facebook.
After getting such a massive social media following, Brown launched into his first single, "Used to Love You Sober" in 2015. In the same year, he released an EP titled "Closer." In 2016, he released "Chapter 1." Later that year, in December, Brown released a self-titled full-length album.
He also made history when he became the first-ever artist to top all five Billboard Country Charts with his breakthrough No. 1 Top Country Album; No. 1 debuting Country Digital Song, the Double-Platinum "Heaven"; and No. 1 Country Airplay, Hot Country Song and Country Streaming Song, the Triple-Platinum "What Ifs," according to the Country Note. "What Ifs" also became the No. 3 most-streamed country song of all time.
His latest album, Experiment, featured his single "Lose It" that made Top 20 at country radio and on-demand audio and video streaming charts, according to the Country Note.
