During the face-off between the San Diego Padres and the San Francisco Giants on the night of July 30 in San Diego, the Jumbotron captured two parents who were grooving to the music, and a teen sitting between them who was not.

As the song “Get Low” by Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz was being played, the mother’s dance moves especially caught the attention of the crowd. However, as the camera zoomed in, showing the whole family on the big screen, her teenage son’s cheeks became more and more red from embarrassment.

The moment was captured and tweeted by a fan on scene.

The obvious suffering of the youth, who was wearing a “Top Gun” t-shirt, continued when his parents were hyped up by another song: “Cake By The Ocean” by DNCE.

The teen was clearly overcome with desperation, and hid his red face with his hands.

While many people on Twitter acknowledged the teen’s discomfort, there was a supporting tweet for the mother that wrote, “This mom embarrassing her son is the mom all moms should aspire to be.”

Another fan also tweet about the incident that evening and described it as “my favorite part of going to last night’s game.”
