Kim Potter, the Minnesota police officer who accidentally shot and killed Daunte Wright, was found guilty for mistaking her gun for her taser when she shot him. It was a very tragic event, but a key reason she had to draw a weapon in the first place was that Daunte was trying to evade arrest and drive away with the possibility of dragging an officer with him.
