The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has shared recall notices for several chocolate, cookie, and holiday bark products ahead of Christmas over concerns that they may contain undeclared allergens.
The affected bars were sold at three stores—Curioporium in Southington, Connecticut; Puckerbutt Pepper Co. in Fort Mill, South Carolina; and the Army Barracks location in Saugus, Massachusetts—and feature the UPC code 0 987261 5.
"The expanded recall was initiated after it was discovered that the Pecan, Cranberry & Cinnamon Holiday Bark had been packaged in Cookie Butter Holiday Bark packages resulting in undeclared pecan," the notice reads. "Subsequent investigation indicates the problem may have been caused by a temporary breakdown in the company’s production and packaging process."
Silvestri Sweets urged consumers to discard the holiday bark products.
The affected products were sold from Dec. 13 to Dec. 22 at various stores in Baltimore, Towson, and Catonsville, Maryland.

The Eagan, Minnesota-based company said its Frozen Monster Cookie Dough, which contains peanuts, may have been packaged in bags that feature the macadamia nut label. The 2-pound 8.5-ounce packages display a "best by" date of Dec. 6, 2026, and were sold at various grocery stores in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Nebraska.
On Dec. 22, the FDA also flagged a recall announcement for Troemner Farm's 6-ounce and 12-ounce Pfeffernusse Cookies for potentially containing undeclared milk, wheat, and soy ingredients. The cookies were sold in stores throughout the Michigan towns of Hancock and Calumet.
The FDA noted that no illnesses have been reported for any of the aforementioned products to date.
