A screening of the award-winning documentary "State Organs" was held in the heart of Washington on Oct. 3. The screening was sponsored by Rotary Club Districts 7610 and 7620, which together represent over 4,000 members.
The film examines the crime of forced organ harvesting perpetrated by China's communist regime. The regime is known to harvest the organs from prisoners of conscience—and especially from adherents of the peaceful spiritual practice Falun Gong.
More than two hundred people attended the event, with many of them saying they were shocked by the sheer brutality and scale of this massive human rights violation.
