“Glee” actress Lea Michele and husband Zandy Reich are expecting their first child, a source confirmed to PEOPLE magazine in an exclusive report.
According to the source, the 33-year-old actress and her entrepreneur husband, 37-year-old Reich, have always wanted to be parents.
There is currently no information regarding the baby’s due date or other details, according to E!News.
The couple were married on March 9, 2019, in an intimate ceremony in Northern California, PEOPLE reported. Over 200 people were in attendance, including some of her co-stars from “Glee” and “Scream Queens.”
“We’re so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family. And most of all, we’re so happy to spend the rest of our lives together,” the couple said in a statement, reported the entertainment magazine.
According to E!News, a source said that the newly-wed couple were enjoying the moment of getting married and being able to call each other husband and wife.
“They were so ecstatic about the entire [wedding] weekend and just [kept] talking about how magical and incredible it was. They didn’t want it to end and are still remembering more and more details that they had forgotten,” the source said.
Michele and Reich started dating in July 2017 after being friends for a very long time, reported the outlet. They met at the wedding of a mutual friend, TV executive Stephanie Levinson, where they were seated next to each other.
“They’ve been friends for a long time, a few years. Things turned romantic recently and they’re dating now,” the source said, according to PEOPLE.
Reich proposed to Michele in April 2018, and the actress announced their engagement on her Instagram.
