Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Robert Maginnis, senior fellow for national security at the Family Research Council, John Sitilides, a former diplomacy consultant for the Department of State, and John Byrnes, strategic director for Concerned Veterans for America, joined a panel discussion with NTD’s Steve Lance.

The panel discussed Congress preparing to debate and vote on a measure that would address the scope of President Donald Trump’s ongoing military operations in Iran, the arguments of both sides of the 1973 War Powers Resolution, and Congress eschewing its war powers.

The panel also discussed the U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia being struck by two drones on Monday night, the possibility of disrupted oil and LNG shipments out of the Persian Gulf, and the threat to Americans both at home and in the region.
