The new look Thor isn't even holding a hammer, but two swords. It seems to go along with the whole gladiator motto of "Ragnarok," and a revision of the Planet Hulk storyline that it will likely be partially based on. Somewhere along the line Thor must have lost his hammer, again. Notably absent from the cast cover shoot is Mark Ruffalo as Hulk. He is likely going to receive the most drastic costume update of all. "Ragnarok" producers probably want to leave that as a surprise. Hulk was armored in the comics, one of the coolest looks ever, almost cooler than the giant, trench coat wearing gray Hulk of earlier days.

“She’s been locked away for millennia getting more and more cross, and then, with a mistake, she gets unleashed and she ain’t getting back in that box.”If fans remember what happened to Hulk in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," they remember Hulk was sent off into the sky by some contraption built by Iron Man for that specific purpose. It seems that where Hulk landed and what he's been through will be explored in "Thor: Ragnarok." Hemsworth revealed that he encounters Hulk on the planet Sakaar, where Thor finds opponents equal in strength and ability. The interview also revealed that Hulk and Thor will clash, something Marvel movie fans were anticipating, and something veteran comic fans have already seen.
Both Thor and Hulk are two of the physically strongest among Marvel superheroes. Any fights are likely to result in a whole lot of property damage. In recent years, Marvel has favored the strength of Hulk over others, as can be seen in the Marvel animated films where Hulk is pitted against other Avengers, including Thor. It will be interesting to see if Marvel takes some chances and makes Hulk a little more vulnerable.
"Thor: Ragnarok" has a Nov. 3 release date, and it appears that everything is on schedule.
