An aviation tragedy was averted Wednesday night at Tennessee’s Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport, as a Boeing 757 plane operated by FedEx crash-landed after reporting a landing gear failure. Video footage shows the plane crash-landing and skidding off a runway. The aircraft came to a stop between the runway and a nearby road, and the three people on board survived uninjured, according to the Chattanooga Fire Department.
