It was a surprise visit and only the second time Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been overseas since the Russian invasion.
He addressed hundreds of MPs and peers as the light from the stained glass window streamed into Westminster Hall.
Zelenskyy wasn’t speaking in his native language, he spoke in English, but it was a powerful speech, as he referenced the British character and the Ukraine-UK relationship.
