I speak with Rabbi Abraham Cooper, who was elected as vice chair of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. We discuss his experience seeing the fall of the Soviet Union, what the concerns are in China when it comes to human rights, and his last trip to Hong Kong. We also look into the role of the commission, which will advise the secretary of state on religious freedom around the world.
We also discuss issues related to antisemitism as well as the freedom to practice or not to practice religion.
