New <a href="https://moodle.com/us/news/ai-for-workplace-training-in-america/">research</a> signals that 66 percent of American workers are suffering some level of burnout. For many, it’s driven by feeling there’s just too much to do and not enough time.

As a mental health counsellor, Margaret Trey is no stranger to this phenomenon. From clinical to community settings, her support to those in crises has ranged from first aid steps to helping them find the deeper factors driving their burnout behavior.

On “Vital Signs with Brendon Fallon,” Trey offers compelling anecdotes of how she’s helped overworked and overstressed people find more calm for themselves and control over their lives, while revealing how she personally keeps burnout at bay.

How might the slow living trend—which favors living by values over production quotas—be a remedy for the inflated pressures of our times?

How might ancient wisdom and practices for mind-body health help set a steadier pace for life?

Trey highlights the results she has seen in introducing the mind-body practice of Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) to people suffering various levels of mental distress—from anxiety disorder to schizophrenia.

Trey’s research has focused on holistic healing methods. She has published two books on the <a href="https://margarettrey.com/the-mindful-practice-of-falun-gong">health effects of Falun Gong</a>, backed by<a href="https://margarettrey.com/the-effect-of-falun-gong-on-health-and-wellness"> empirical studies and personal testimonies</a>.
